Had Kerala meals here—meals and curries were quite good and flavorful. Tried the mathi (sardine) fry, but it wasn’t great—had a strong bad oil taste. The place is in a busy area with no parking available, but the service was good and quick. Overall, decent for Kerala meals, but skip the fish fry.
Had a wonderful experience at Thalassery. Their meals and biryani are absolutely awesome. The food was flavorful, well-cooked, and truly satisfying. Definitely a great place for anyone who loves authentic and delicious dishes. Highly recommended!
Food was decent but not upto the mark for the price we’re paying. Services took time and we had to wait a long time bored for the food to arrive. Atmosphere is crowded, no proper ventilation and it gets really hot in there and the fans around there doesn’t reach every bit and corners which makes it a hard time to spend there.
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Thalassery Restaurant. I ordered a takeaway of porotta, beef curry, and chicken fried rice, but unfortunately, none of the items met even basic expectations. The porotta was the only item that was somewhat acceptable—at least it was edible. However, the beef curry was extremely salty, and the meat was so tough it was almost impossible to chew. It felt like it had not been cooked properly. The chicken fried rice was by far the worst of the three. It tasted bland and lacked any seasoning or flavor. To make matters worse, after eating it, both of us experienced stomach issues, which was really unpleasant. We were very hungry, so we ate the food out of sheer necessity, but it was a thoroughly unsatisfying meal. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place based on the quality of the food I received.
