Grab doesn't publish its GrabFood commission in Indonesia; each restaurant's service fee is set in its commercial terms. Merchant guides put it at about 20% to 30% of the order, with 30% the most common for new merchants, so these figures are approximate. Self Pick-Up orders pay the same rate as delivery unless your contract says otherwise.

The rates
Your own agreement with GrabFood sets your rate. These approximate ranges come from public sources, listed at the foot of the page.

Card processing
Grab's terms list no card fee on GrabFood orders. Merchants who join its payment programs can pay a separate processing fee (MDR) set by the payment provider.

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. GrabFood agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your GrabFood payout statement is the source of truth. Worth knowing
Driver commission cap. Since 1 July 2026 a presidential regulation caps what apps take from motorbike passenger fares at 8%. It covers rides, not the commission restaurants pay.
Grab's merchant terms say VAT (PPN) applies to its service fee at the rate in Indonesian tax law, 11% in effect. hitungcerdas says it's usually already inside Grab's percentage, though some contracts add it on top, so check yours.
Grab can use part of the service fee to pay for promotions to customers on your behalf, its terms say.
