The rates
Commission is a percentage of the order, and who delivers it sets the rate. Here is what Glovo publishes for restaurants in Nigeria.
| Plan | Glovo delivers | You deliver | Pickup | What changes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small-business pricing | 30% | 15% | 15% | Glovo's published rates for small businesses, as a share of the order subtotal. Glovo says they may vary by city, and larger partners agree theirs in contract. |

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. Glovo agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your Glovo payout statement is the source of truth. The direct column assumes every order is paid by card at about 3%, before your ordering plan's fee; cash and pay-at-counter orders cost nothing. Worth knowing
Exclusivity. If you agreed a preferential partnership with Glovo and then sign up with a rival app, its terms let it raise your rate to as much as 30% from that date.
Service levels. Missing the service levels in Glovo's terms can add 1 to 1.5 percentage points to your rate.
Glovo's Nigerian terms (updated June 2025) charge its fee as the agreed percentage plus VAT, on gross sales including taxes.
Glovo's pricing FAQ says its commission pays for access to the app, couriers' costs, customer support, and advertising and marketing.
Glovo is owned by Delivery Hero, which Uber agreed to buy in July 2026. Glovo's Nigerian business is among those Uber would take over.
A Glovo alternative for your regulars
A delivery app is a good way to be found and an expensive way to serve people who already know you. Give your regulars your own ordering link, and the commission on their orders stays in your business.
