How do I verify my restaurant on Google, and how long does it take?

Choose Get verified in your Business Profile and follow the method Google offers. Postcards usually arrive within 14 days, and Google's review can take up to 5 business days.

• Google picks the method: phone or text, email, live video call or postcard. You cannot change it.
• Postcard: codes expire after 30 days. Do not edit your name, address or category while waiting, and do not request a second code.
• Video call: show your location, branded equipment or products, and proof you manage the business.
• Faster: verification can be instant if you verify your website with Google Search Console.
• Do this first, before adding an order link.
