What was Order with Google and does it still exist in 2026?

Ordering inside Google ended in 2024. Order with Google, launched in 2018, let people order in Search and Maps. The Order button stayed and now links out to other sites or your own page.
- Google charged restaurants nothing for Order with Google, and restaurants kept the order data.
- From 30 June 2024 the Order button shows third-party sites or the restaurant's own ordering page.
- Search Engine Roundtable corrected its first report: the button did not go away, only ordering inside Google did.
- Google's help page still carries older wording, so check what your Business Profile editor shows.
