Do followers of my WhatsApp Channel see my phone number?
Updated 8 October 2026
No. Followers do not see your WhatsApp Business profile name, picture or phone number. A channel is a one-way broadcast.
- Channel updates go one way: followers read them but do not chat with you there.
- Channel insights cover the last 30 days.
- Channels were still rolling out and not available to everyone.
- Use a channel for daily specials and put your ordering link in each update.
Let followers order in one tap
Put your Menuthere ordering link in each channel update. A follower taps it, orders, and the order reaches your dashboard at 0% commission.
