How do I back up my WhatsApp Business chats before changing phones?

Make a backup on your old phone before you switch. To restore, use the same phone number and the same Google or iCloud account.
- WhatsApp suggests a backup before you uninstall the app or move to a new device.
- Restore only appears while setting the app up again. There is no Restore button in Settings.
- A Google account keeps one backup per number. A new backup replaces the old one.
- You cannot make or restore a backup from WhatsApp Web, Mac or Windows. Use the phone.
- Without the backup you cannot restore the chats on the new phone.
Keep orders if a phone is lost
Orders from your Menuthere page are saved in your dashboard, not only in one phone's chats. Changing or losing a phone does not lose the order list.
