Worth knowing
Proposed rules. Bahraini MPs put forward proposals in July 2026 to regulate delivery apps, including a study of a ceiling on commissions. Nothing had been passed when we checked.
Business owners quoted by Gulf Insider in July 2026 said some delivery apps in Bahrain take 25% to 30% of each order.
Jahez plans to launch Snoonu, the Qatari app it bought in 2025, in Bahrain as its main platform outside Saudi Arabia. The Jahez app still served Bahrain in August 2026.
