Keeta commission · Bahrain · checked October 2026

What Keeta charges restaurants in Bahrain.

Keeta doesn't publish its commission in Bahrain. It launched on-demand delivery there on 5 January 2026, onboarding over 2,000 local brands, but publishes no rate card. For context, Bahrain business owners told the press in 2026 that some delivery apps take about 25% to 30% of each order. Keeta ran a commission-reduction offer for small businesses (five or fewer locations) from 6 April to 5 May 2026, without publishing the size of the reduction.

Keeta doesn't publish its Bahrain restaurant commission, and no reputable source reports a Keeta-specific percentage. The range below is the general Bahrain market band from owner reports in the press; it is not Keeta's own rate. Keeta ran a time-limited SME commission-reduction offer whose size it didn't publish. The rates

Keeta's commission in Bahrain.

Your own agreement with Keeta sets your rate. These approximate ranges come from public sources, listed at the foot of the page.

Order typeKeeta deliversWhat changes
Bahrain market context (not Keeta's own rate)~25–30%The general Bahrain band: owners quoted by Gulf Insider (July 2026) said some delivery apps take 25–30% per order. Keeta publishes no rate; this isn't a Keeta figure. Jahez's CFO put Bahrain and Kuwait commission at 20–25% (March 2025).

On top of the commission

  • Card processing

Keeta doesn't publish a card fee for Bahrain, or say whether payment processing is inside the commission. Check your contract.

  • VAT on the commission

Bahrain charges 10% VAT, and delivery apps generally add VAT to their fees. Keeta doesn't publish how VAT appears on its invoices, so check your monthly statement.

  • SME support offer

At launch Keeta offered a commission reduction to partners with five or fewer physical locations over a 30-day window, 6 April–5 May 2026 (TradeArabia). It didn't publish the size of the reduction or the underlying rate; treat it as a promotional window.

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. Keeta agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your Keeta payout statement is the source of truth. The direct column assumes every order is paid by card at about 3%, before your ordering plan's fee; cash and pay-at-counter orders cost nothing. Worth knowing

What else sets your Keeta bill in Bahrain.

Proposed cap. Bahraini MPs put forward proposals in July 2026 to regulate delivery apps, including a study of a ceiling on commissions. Nothing had been passed when we checked, so there is no legal cap today.

Keeta, the international arm of China's Meituan, officially launched on-demand delivery in Bahrain on 5 January 2026, onboarding more than 2,000 local brands. It hasn't published a rate card, and no reputable source reports a specific Keeta percentage.

The 25–30% band above describes the Bahrain market Keeta competes in, not Keeta's own rate, which sits in its contracts.

Match the plan to how you sell: a lower-commission plan usually means a smaller delivery area or less visibility in the app, and pickup orders cost less than delivery. Then give your regulars a direct way to order. An order placed on your own ordering page carries no commission, only your card processor's fee when the customer pays by card, so every regular who switches keeps the commission in your business. Keep Keeta for finding new customers.

No. Menuthere takes 0% commission on every plan. The free plan gives you your own ordering website, a QR code menu and table ordering, with 50 orders a month included. Lite ($17 a month) removes the order limit and adds your own domain; Pro ($39 a month) adds WhatsApp ordering on your own number, loyalty and your own riders.
