Uber Eats charges restaurants in France 15%, 30% or 33% of the order when its couriers deliver, depending on the plan, plus €1.99 a week. Pickup costs 15% on the Standard plan and 10% on Premium. Card processing is included, and 20% VAT is added to the fees.

Card processing
Included in the commission. Uber Eats lists payment processing in every plan, with no separate card fee.
VAT on the commission
Yes. Uber Eats' French terms say all its fees exclude VAT and the restaurant pays the VAT on top, at France's standard rate of 20%. A VAT-registered business can usually deduct it.
Weekly subscription
€1.99 a week, on every plan.
Activation fee
Uber's French terms provide for a one-off activation fee, set in each restaurant's order form. The pricing page doesn't list an amount.
Tablet
Included on Premium; on Essential you use your own. Uber charges €150 if a tablet it lends you is lost, stolen, returned late or damaged.
Offers and ads
Optional. Promotions you fund and sponsored listings you buy are charged separately, plus VAT.

Worth knowing
Uber Eats works out its percentage on the item price including VAT, so the commission is taken from the VAT-inclusive amount.
Uber's French terms say each restaurant's fees are set in its order form. They also cover restaurants that deliver with their own couriers, at a rate the pricing page doesn't list.
