What Menuthere is
Menuthere is software for restaurants, not a delivery app. You put your menu online once, customers order from you directly, and every order comes to you.
Upload a photo or PDF of your menu and AI builds your ordering page, on your Menuthere link or, on Lite, your own domain.
From your link, a QR code on the table or the bag, or a WhatsApp message. Delivery, takeaway or dine-in.
On your dashboard and the partner app for Android and iPhone, which rings until someone accepts the order.
It isn't a marketplace: Menuthere doesn't list you next to other restaurants and doesn't deliver for you. The customers who order are the ones you send to your page, and they stay yours.
Uber Eats or Menuthere?
| Uber Eats | Menuthere | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A delivery app: it lists you next to other restaurants so new customers find you. | Your own ordering system, for customers who already know you. |
| Where customers order | In the Uber Eats app. | On your own website, from your QR codes, and on WhatsApp. |
| What each order costs you | 5–35% commission in 26 countries. | 0% commission on every plan. |
| Who delivers | Uber Eats's couriers, on its delivery plans. | Your own staff, or the customer picks up or eats in. Pro adds a riders app with live tracking. |
| Your brand | One listing inside the app. | Your name, logo and colours on your own page; your own domain on Lite. |
| Your customers | They order through Uber Eats. | Every direct order adds the customer to your own list, with their phone number. |
| Best for | Being found by new customers. | Your regulars' repeat orders. |
How restaurants use both
Uber Eats
They found you in the app. That order pays its commission.
Your restaurant
A sticker on the packaging or a card with the receipt: “Order direct next time.”
Your restaurant
They scan the code, or find your link on Google, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Menuthere
Straight from you on Menuthere, at 0% commission.
Menuthere
Offers (Lite), loyalty points and WhatsApp comeback messages (Pro).
You don't have to leave Uber Eats. Keep it running for new customers; every regular who switches saves you the commission on their orders.
What you get
Free is $0 with 50 orders a month. Lite is $9 a month for unlimited orders; Pro is $39. Both paid plans have a 7-day free trial, and every plan is 0% commission.
WhatsApp ordering
On Pro, Menuthere connects the WhatsApp Business API to your own number. A customer sends “Hi”, gets your menu, orders, and follows the order in the same chat. You can send offers and comeback messages to customers who haven't ordered in a while.
Pro, $39 a month. Meta charges for some WhatsApp messages; see what they cost.
An example
Say you get 300 Uber Eats orders a month in Sri Lanka, at Rs 2,500 each, and 4 in 10 come from regulars who already know you. At 30% commission, those 120 orders cost you Rs 90,000 a month.
Move them to your own page and that's Rs 90,000 a month you keep, Rs 1,080,000 a year.
An illustration with example numbers, not data. The rate: 30% when Uber delivers; 15% on pickup. Menuthere's Lite plan, $9 a month, covers unlimited orders.
