Olo pricing: how Olo charges restaurant brands in 2026
Updated October 20, 2026
Olo doesn't publish a price. olo.com/pricing returns "page not found" and every product page asks you to request a demo (read October 20, 2026). What Olo does publish, in its last annual report to the SEC (Form 10-K for 2024), is how it charges: a fixed monthly subscription for the modules a brand buys, in some contracts a monthly allowance of orders with a fee for each extra order, a fee on each Olo Pay card transaction, and a fixed implementation fee. Contracts typically run three years or longer and renew automatically. This page sets out each part, the numbers to ask Olo's sales team for, and how that compares with a system that publishes its prices.
In short
- No list price. Olo sells through demos and quotes; there is no pricing page and no self-serve sign-up.
- Four charges to ask about: the subscription, per-order fees above an order allowance (some contracts), Olo Pay fees per transaction, and a one-off implementation fee.
- Long contracts: initial terms of "three years or longer", automatic renewals of one to two years, and at least 90 days' written notice before the term ends if you don't want to renew.
- Built for chains: Olo groups its customers as Emerging Enterprise (5 to 99 locations) and Enterprise (100+ locations).
- Some fees aren't paid by the restaurant: Olo's Rails and Dispatch modules earn per-transaction fees charged to delivery apps, channel partners and other service providers.
What does Olo cost in 2026?
Olo has no public plans, so this table shows what Olo itself has published about each part of the price. Where a figure is missing, Olo hasn't published it.
| Part of the price | What Olo publishes | Where (date read) |
|---|---|---|
| List price | None. olo.com/pricing returns "page not found"; product pages offer "Request a Demo" | olo.com, October 20, 2026 |
| Subscription | A fixed monthly fee. Brands that buy modules in a bundle pay a fixed monthly fee; brands that buy modules separately pay a fixed monthly fee for a set number of orders | FY2024 Form 10-K |
| Orders above the allowance | "An additional fee for each excess order"; amount not published | FY2024 Form 10-K |
| Olo Pay (card payments) | A fee on each transaction; rate not published. In the 10-K, Olo Pay was available only to brands using Olo's Ordering module | FY2024 Form 10-K |
| Implementation | A fixed fee for implementation services; amount not published | FY2024 Form 10-K |
| Serve storefront | "$0 setup and no ongoing maintenance costs" for the web and app storefront | olo.com/serve, October 20, 2026 |
| Contract | "Initial terms of three years or longer, with continuous one-to-two-year automatic renewal periods"; at least 90 days' written notice before expiry to leave | FY2024 Form 10-K |
| Who it sells to | Emerging Enterprise (5 to 99 locations) and Enterprise (100+); "over 800 brands" at "approximately 90,000 locations" | FY2024 Form 10-K; olo.com/about-us, October 20, 2026 |
What the subscription can include. Olo's product range covers online ordering with a white-label website and app (Ordering and Serve), Dispatch for direct delivery through third-party couriers, Rails for delivery-app orders, Olo Pay, Switchboard for phone orders, Host for reservations and waitlists, and loyalty and marketing modules (Olo product pages, read September 26, 2026). Which of these sit in your quote, and whether the price is per location or per brand, is the first thing to settle.
Olo has been privately owned since September 12, 2025, when its sale to funds managed by Thoma Bravo closed (SEC Form 8-K). Its 10-K for 2024 is the last annual report it filed, so treat the model below as Olo's own description at that point, and confirm it in your contract.
What fees come on top of the subscription?
| Fee | How Olo charges it | Who pays | Published amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Card processing | Olo Pay charges a fee per transaction; Olo also integrates with other processors | The restaurant brand | Not published |
| Per-order overage | A fee for each order above the monthly allowance, in contracts that buy modules separately | The restaurant brand | Not published |
| Direct delivery (Dispatch) | Pairs orders with couriers from 27+ delivery service providers; non-bundled Dispatch contracts pay Olo per transaction, and Olo also charges service providers per transaction for access | Brand and courier companies | Not published |
| Delivery-app orders (Rails) | Brings marketplace orders into your POS; Olo charges "aggregators, channel partners, and other service providers" per transaction | Delivery apps and other partners | Not published |
| Implementation | One fixed fee | The restaurant brand | Not published |
| POS | Olo has no POS of its own, so you keep and pay for yours | The restaurant brand | Set by your POS vendor |
| Commission | None: Olo markets Dispatch as "pay zero commissions" | — | 0% |
| Contract exit | No early exit described; to avoid renewal, give at least 90 days' written notice before the term ends | The restaurant brand | — |
Worked example: the questions behind one location's bill
We can't put Olo numbers in a worked example because Olo doesn't publish any, and we won't guess them. What we can do is show the arithmetic you'll run once you have a quote. The assumptions are the same on every pricing page in this series: one US location, 600 online orders a month, a $30 average order, all paid by card online. That is $18,000 a month in card payments.
Letters stand for the numbers to ask Olo for. The Menuthere columns use list prices read October 20, 2026, with card fees from the restaurant's own Stripe account at Stripe's US rate of 2.9% + 30¢ ($522 + $180 = $702 a month).
| Line | What to ask Olo | First-year arithmetic on Olo | Menuthere Lite | Menuthere Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Subscription | Monthly fee for your modules (S), and whether it is per location | 12 × S | 12 × $17 = $204 | 12 × $39 = $468 |
| Order allowance | Orders included each month (A) and the fee per extra order (F) | 12 × (600 − A) × F, if A is below 600 | $0 (no per-order fee) | $0 |
| Card payments | Olo Pay percentage (r) and fixed fee per transaction (c) | 12 × ($18,000 × r + 600 × c) | 12 × $702 = $8,424 | 12 × $702 = $8,424 |
| Implementation | One-off fee (I) | I | $0 | $0 |
| Commitment | Initial term, renewal length, notice period | Typically 36+ months × S | None; cancel any month | None; cancel any month |
| First-year total | 12S + overage + card fees + I | $8,628 | $8,892 |
How to read it. Card fees are the biggest line on both sides. If Olo Pay cost the same as Stripe's US list rate (a benchmark only, since Olo doesn't publish its rate), the card line would also be $8,424 a year, and the comparison would come down to S, F and I. Every $100 a month of subscription adds $1,200 to the first year and $3,600 over a three-year term, before any renewal. On Menuthere's yearly billing (10 months' price for 12), Lite is $170 and Pro $390 a year, so the first year would be $8,594 or $8,814.
Two things this table can't show. First, Olo's quote covers things Menuthere doesn't offer, such as delivery-app order integration, POS integrations and courier networks, so the totals aren't like for like. Second, Olo's smallest segment starts at 5 locations: a single restaurant is unlikely to be the customer its sales team is set up for.
When is Olo worth the price?
- You run 5 or more locations, or plan to. Olo is built and sold for chains, from Emerging Enterprise brands to 100+ locations.
- You need delivery-app orders in one place. Rails brings marketplace orders into your POS. Menuthere has no delivery-app order integration.
- You need deep POS and partner integrations. Olo says it connects to over 450 technology partners. Menuthere has no POS integrations with Toast, Square or Clover in the US.
- You want a courier network, not your own drivers. Dispatch pairs orders with couriers from 27+ providers, and Olo says 96% of its brands are covered by two or more.
- You need scale and uptime guarantees. Olo reports more than 3.5 million orders a day and 99.99% uptime.
When is Olo the wrong fit?
- You run one to a few locations and want to start this week, without a demo and a negotiated contract.
- You don't want a three-year commitment. The 10-K describes initial terms of three years or longer that renew automatically unless you give 90 days' written notice.
- You want to know the price before you talk to sales. Nothing about Olo's price is published.
How does Menuthere's pricing compare?
Menuthere publishes every price and has no contract. The Free plan is $0 for 50 orders a month with an ordering website, QR codes and QR table ordering, and needs no card. Lite is $17 a month with unlimited orders, your own domain, online payments through your own Stripe account, coupons, pre-orders and table booking. Pro is $39 a month and adds WhatsApp order updates from your own number, a loyalty card, reviews, several outlets, and your own riders with an iPhone and Android rider app and a live tracking map for customers; you assign each order to a rider by hand, with no auto-dispatch or route optimisation. Branded App is $99 a month and adds your own Android and iOS customer app. There's 0% commission and no per-order fee on every plan.
In the US, Meta does not deliver WhatsApp marketing messages to +1 numbers, so WhatsApp sends order updates (utility messages, about $0.0034 each, billed by Meta with no markup) but not promotions; use email for offers.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Olo cost?
Olo doesn't publish prices. Its pricing URL returns page not found and every product page asks for a demo. Olo's 2024 annual report says brands pay a fixed monthly subscription, some contracts add a fee for each order above a monthly allowance, Olo Pay charges a fee per transaction, and implementation is a fixed fee. You need a quote for each of these.
Does Olo charge a fee per order?
Some contracts do. Olo's 2024 annual report says a portion of its customers buy an allotment of monthly orders for a fixed monthly fee and pay an additional fee for each excess order. The amount isn't published. Olo charges no percentage commission.
How long is an Olo contract?
Olo's 2024 annual report says contracts typically have initial terms of three years or longer, with automatic renewal periods of one to two years. To stop a renewal, the customer must give at least 90 days' written notice before the term expires.
What does Olo Pay cost?
Olo doesn't publish an Olo Pay rate. Its annual report says Olo charges a fee on each Olo Pay transaction, and that Olo Pay was available to brands using Olo's Ordering module. Brands can also use other payment processors that Olo integrates with.
Is Olo a good fit for a single restaurant?
Usually not. Olo sells through demos to restaurant brands, groups its customers as Emerging Enterprise (5 to 99 locations) and Enterprise (100+), and uses multi-year contracts. A single restaurant may find a self-serve system with published prices and no contract easier to start with.
