The rates
Your own agreement with Wolt sets your rate. These approximate ranges come from public sources, listed at the foot of the page.
| Order type | Wolt delivers | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Approximate range | ~28–35% | SE MENY (April 2026): typically 28–32% for small restaurants, varying with negotiation and volume. Avisa Oslo (April 2025): Wolt and foodora take up to 35% at most, according to Oslo restaurant owners. Belly Budget, a rival platform, says 30–40%. |
Card processing
No separate card fee is listed: Wolt says its commission and fees pay for payment processing. Check your agreement.
Wolt+ orders
Oslo restaurant owners told Avisa Oslo in 2025 that they pay three percent more on orders from subscribers, and that some customer discounts are charged to the restaurant. Pickup orders carry a reduced commission.

In some countries Wolt adds a platform fee on top of the commission, as set in your agreement.

One kr 300 order on Wolt
Wolt keeps 31.5% of every order — kr 28,350 a month, or kr 340,200 a year at your volume.
The same order on your own ordering page
Moving 90 orders a month (30%) to your own link keeps kr 7,695 a month in your business — kr 92,340 a year.
Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. Wolt agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your Wolt payout statement is the source of truth. The direct column assumes every order is paid by card at about 3%, before your ordering plan's fee; cash and pay-at-counter orders cost nothing. Worth knowing
Wolt's Norwegian pages describe its fees without figures: no fee to join, commission only on completed orders, and you can end the partnership at any time.
Uber Eats announced a Norwegian launch for 2026 and publishes Norwegian prices, but in July 2026 it paused the launch while it bids for Delivery Hero, foodora's owner.
A Wolt alternative for your regulars
A delivery app is a good way to be found and an expensive way to serve people who already know you. Give your regulars your own ordering link, and the commission on their orders stays in your business.
