White-label delivery: their drivers, your orders
Updated October 20, 2026
White-label delivery means a courier network delivers orders you took yourself, from your own website, app or phone line, for a flat fee per trip instead of a commission. In the US the best-known services are Uber Direct and DoorDash Drive. The customer orders from you and pays you; the courier just carries the bag.
In short
- Your customer, their driver. The order, the customer's details and the menu prices stay yours.
- A fee per delivery, not a percentage. Uber Direct's US price starts "as low as US$7.99"; DoorDash's on-demand Drive lists $6.99 to $10.99 per delivery.
- Who pays the fee is up to you: pass it on as the delivery charge, share it, or absorb it.
- On Menuthere you can connect your own Uber Direct account (outside India) and checkout shows Uber's live price.

What white-label delivery costs in the US
| Service | Published price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Uber Direct | "As low as US$7.99" per delivery (CA$9.99 in Canada) | Rates vary with order type, distance, speed and integration; no commissions or monthly minimums; typically within about 10 miles |
| DoorDash Drive On-Demand | $6.99 to $10.99 per delivery order | Flat fee per delivery; tips pass 100% to the driver |
A month: 300 deliveries at $28
| Marketplace at 25% | White-label at $8.99, customer pays $4.99 | Own driver | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delivery-related cost to you | 300 × $7.00 = $2,100 | 300 × ($8.99 − $4.99) = $1,200 | Depends on pay and trips per hour |
| Customer data | The app's | Yours | Yours |
(Illustrative: $8.99 is an assumed fee within the published ranges; your quote depends on distance.) Own drivers can cost less or more per delivery depending on how many trips an hour they make; see the own-delivery cost calculator.
How Menuthere handles white-label delivery
- Uber Direct, on your own account (outside India). Paste your Uber Direct Customer ID, Client ID and Client secret, choose Test or Production, and add Menuthere's webhook in Uber so courier updates reach your orders. Uber bills your Uber Direct account, not Menuthere.
- Live price at checkout. When a customer picks a delivery address, checkout asks Uber for a live price and shows it as the delivery charge. If Uber can't quote the address, your own delivery pricing is used so the order can still be placed.
- Booking. Choose when a courier is booked: Order accepted, Food ready or Only when I tap Book, with an optional note for the courier at pickup. Each order is booked once.
- Status follows the courier. Pickup moves the order to Dispatched and drop-off to Completed by themselves; cancelling the order cancels the courier. Customers see Track your courier on their order page.
- Test first. Uber's test keys run test deliveries that are never charged.
- Help: Uber Direct. For your own drivers instead, see delivery dispatch.
What it doesn't do: Menuthere doesn't connect to DoorDash Drive. Outside India it doesn't split deliveries by distance between your own drivers and Uber, and while Uber Direct is on, delivery checkouts show Uber's live fee.
Take delivery orders on your own page and let Uber couriers carry them, with no commission.

FAQs
What is white-label delivery?
White-label delivery is a service where a courier network delivers orders a restaurant took through its own website, app or phone, for a fee per delivery instead of a commission. The customer orders from and pays the restaurant; the network only provides the driver.
How much does Uber Direct cost?
Uber's US page says pricing is as low as US$7.99 per delivery, or CA$9.99 in Canada, with no commissions or monthly minimums. The actual rate depends on order type, distance, delivery speed and how you integrate.
What is the difference between DoorDash Drive and DoorDash Marketplace?
On the Marketplace, customers order on the DoorDash app and the restaurant pays a commission. With DoorDash Drive, customers order from the restaurant's own channels and DoorDash drivers deliver for a fee per delivery.
Who pays the white-label delivery fee?
The restaurant is billed, and it decides how much to pass on. Many charge the customer a delivery fee that covers part or all of it. On Menuthere with Uber Direct, checkout shows Uber's live fee as the delivery charge.
Does Menuthere work with Uber Direct?
Yes, for stores outside India. You connect your own Uber Direct account, couriers are booked when an order reaches the status you choose, and Uber bills your account directly.
