Uber Direct
Connect your own Uber Direct account and Uber couriers deliver your orders. Customers pay Uber's live delivery fee at checkout, a courier is booked when you accept the order, and the courier's progress updates the order on its own. Uber bills your Uber Direct account, not Menuthere. Available for stores outside India.

Connect Uber Direct
Step 1: Get your keys from Uber
Sign in at direct.uber.com with your Uber Direct business account and open Developer → API Keys. You need the Customer ID, Client ID and Client secret (press Reveal to see it). Uber shows test keys and production keys separately.
Step 2: Connect them in Menuthere
Go to Settings → Integrations → Uber Direct and press Connect Uber Direct. Paste the three keys, choose whether These keys are Test or Production, and press Connect. Menuthere checks the keys with Uber before saving them. The client secret is stored encrypted and never shown again.
Step 3: Add the webhook in Uber
Copy the address under Live courier updates and add it in direct.uber.com under Developer → Webhooks. Courier updates then reach your orders as they happen.
Step 4: Choose when a courier is booked
In Settings → Ordering → Delivery settings, the Uber Direct card sets Book a courier when: Order accepted, Food ready or Only when I tap Book. You can also add a Note for the courier at pickup.
What happens on an order

| Uber can't quote the address | Checkout uses your own delivery pricing instead, so the order can still be placed. |
| The order reaches your trigger status | An Uber courier is booked. Each order is booked once, so it is never billed twice. |
| The courier picks the order up | The order moves to Dispatched by itself. |
| The courier delivers it | The order moves to Completed by itself. |
| You cancel the order | The Uber courier is cancelled too. |
Switch it off or disconnect
In Settings → Integrations → Uber Direct, turn off Deliver with Uber Direct to stop showing Uber's fee and booking couriers while keeping your keys. Disconnect deletes the keys from Menuthere. Couriers already on their way keep going; follow them in direct.uber.com.
