Order types: delivery, takeaway, dine-in
Order types are the choices a customer sees first: delivery, takeaway and dine-in. You switch each one on or off in Settings → Ordering → Order types. A type you switch off disappears from the start screen and from checkout.

Choose your order types
Step 1: Open Order types
Go to Settings → Ordering and open the Order types tab. You see one switch per type.

Step 2: Switch the types you want
Turn Delivery, Takeaway and Dine-in on or off. Each switch hides the type at onboarding and at checkout when it is off.
Step 3: Save
Press Save changes (Save on a phone). Customers see the change on their next visit.

What each type means
| Type | What the customer does | What you set up |

| Delivery | Gives an address and drops a pin on a map. The map tells them straight away whether you deliver to that spot. | Set up delivery |
| Takeaway | Orders and collects from you. The tile reads Pickup if you let customers book their own courier. | Nothing extra. See Let customers book their own courier. |
| Dine-in | Books a table for a time, from the times in your prebooking settings. | Table booking |
If a type is outside its hours, its tile greys out with a line such as Available 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM. If the whole store is closed, every tile closes and customers are told when you reopen. When pre-orders are on, the tile stays usable and says Pre-order for the first available day, with the time chosen at checkout. See Delivery and takeaway hours.
