Round off the total
Round off brings each order total to the nearest whole number by adding a Round Off line that can be a small plus or minus amount. You switch it on under Checkout settings. It applies at checkout and to bills made on the POS.

How it works
Open Settings → Ordering → Checkout settings and switch on Round the total to the nearest rupee. Outside India the same switch reads "nearest unit". A Round Off line then appears on the bill when the total isn't already a whole number.
| Total before rounding | Round Off line | Customer pays |
|---|---|---|
| ₹245.20 | -0.20 | ₹245 |
| ₹245.50 | +0.50 | ₹246 |
| ₹245.80 | +0.20 | ₹246 |
| ₹245.00 | No line | ₹245 |
- A fraction under .50 rounds down. A fraction of .50 or more rounds up.
- A total that is already whole gets no Round Off line.
- A tiny total that would round down to nothing, such as 0.10, is left alone, so an order never becomes free.
- The same rounded total is saved with the order and shown on every bill, so the figures always agree.
Good to knowNew stores in India start with round-off on. Stores in other countries start with it off, because rounding dollars or dirhams to a whole unit moves real money. You can change it either way.
Questions
Does it apply to POS bills?
Yes. A bill made on the POS is rounded with the same rule when round-off is on.
Can I round up only?
No. The total always goes to the nearest whole number, up or down.
