Menuthere POS on an Android phone

On a phone, Menuthere POS has tabs at the bottom (Billing, Orders, Tables, Reports, More) and the bill opens as a sheet from the bar at the bottom. Everything from the Windows app is there; some buttons move under More and More actions.

Find your way around

  • Bottom tabs: Billing, Orders, Tables, Reports and More.
  • More holds Online orders, Customers, Stock, Shifts and Menu, plus Printers, Settings, Dark mode and Help.
  • The bill: the bar at the bottom shows the items and total; tap View order to open it. ‹ Menu goes back to the dishes.
  • More actions on the bill holds Discount, Charge, Tip, Order note, Custom item, Hold, Pay later and Complete (no print).
  • The Android Back button closes the top window or sheet; it never quits in the middle of a bill.
  • If Android closes the app, the bill you were making comes back: Your order is back.

Phone features

  • Printers: Bluetooth, USB (OTG) or network printers. See Connect printers.
  • Dish photos: Take photo or Choose from gallery, then Use this photo.
  • Pre-booking reminders: allow notifications and Alarms & reminders when asked, so reminders ring on time in the background.
  • Files: reports and menu Excel files open the share sheet: Drive, Downloads or WhatsApp.
Windows onlyWaiter phones and the customer screen need a Windows till.

Questions

Does a tablet look like the phone?
No. A tablet shows the full billing screen, like Windows.
Can I pick a billing layout on a phone?
Yes, in Settings › Layout & photos, like on Windows. See Choose a billing layout.
