Menuthere POS: the restaurant till app that works without internet

Menuthere POS is a till app for your counter PC, tablet or phone. It makes bills, prints kitchen tickets (KOTs), runs your tables, tracks stock and shows your reports, and it keeps working when the internet drops. Use it free on its own, or sign in with your Menuthere store so every bill reaches your dashboard.

It is a separate app from the POS screen inside the dashboard. The dashboard POS needs a browser and the internet; Menuthere POS is installed on the device and saves every bill on it first.

What it does

  • Billing. Dine-in, takeaway and delivery bills, dish codes and barcode scanning, sizes and add-ons, notes, discounts, offers, tips, split payments and pay later. See Make a bill.
  • Six billing screens. Pick the one that works like your restaurant. See Choose a billing layout.
  • Tables. Running tables, a floor plan, guests, courses, seats, moving, merging and splitting bills. See Tables and floor plan.
  • Kitchen. KOTs on paper, a kitchen screen, and waiter phones over the shop's Wi-Fi. See Kitchen screen.
  • Printers. Thermal printers by USB, network or Bluetooth, 58 or 80 mm, and 13 ready bill layouts including tax invoices. See Connect printers.
  • Stock. Dish counts, ingredients, recipes, purchase bills and stock counts. See Stock in the POS.
  • Reports and shifts. Sales, tax (GST or VAT), staff, items, hourly, and X and Z reports. See Reports.
  • Staff. Manager and cashier PINs, and a manager's approval for voids, big discounts and the drawer. See Staff and PINs.

  • Android phone or tablet (Android 8.0 or newer), from Google Play.
  • An iPhone and iPad version is not out yet.

LanguagesThe app's screens come in 16 languages, including Arabic and Urdu (right to left), Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. All of them work offline.

Questions

Is it really free?
Yes, when the bills stay on the device you bill on. You pay only to save your data online ($10 a month) or to use it with a Menuthere store (the POS add-on).
Do I need the internet?
Only once, to set up. After that you can bill all day with no internet. A store signed in to Menuthere sends its bills when the internet comes back. See How the POS works offline.
Is it the same as the POS in my dashboard?
No. The dashboard's counter POS runs in a browser. Menuthere POS is an app installed on the device, works offline and has its own tables, kitchen screen, shifts and printers.
Can I use it with Petpooja?
No. A store connected to Petpooja keeps using its Petpooja POS, and the app does not sign in for it.
