Set your par levels
Open the par level calculator. It is free, needs no sign-up and works on a phone.
Step 1: Set your deliveries
Under 1. Deliveries choose On set days and tick your Delivery days, or choose Every few days and type how often. Add your Trading days a week, a Safety stock % and the Day you count. Days until the next delivery is worked out for you; type a number to change it.
Step 2: Add your items
Under 2. Items give each item a name, Unit and Category. Choose Weekly usage and type what you use in a week, or From counts and type the Opening, Deliveries and Closing counts Over a number of days. Add the Pack size and what's On hand now. Press Add an item for more, or paste rows under Paste items from a spreadsheet.
Step 3: Read your order
Each item shows a line such as "Par 57.6 kg. You'll have 3 kg when the van comes, so order 22 packs (55 kg)." 3. Your order for the next delivery lists every item with its par and the packs to order.
Step 4: Print or download
Under 4. Print or download choose Par sheet (with blank Counted and Ordered columns) or Order list (grouped by supplier), then press Download PDF to print. Order list (CSV) and Excel with formulas download the same numbers.
