Choose a billing layout in the POS
Menuthere POS has six billing screens, each made for a kind of restaurant and with its own kitchen and payment buttons. A manager picks one on How do you want to bill? after the first sign-in, and can change it any time in Settings › Layout & photos.

The six layouts
| Layout | Best for | What's different |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Any restaurant | Text tiles with categories down the left. Fits the most dishes on the screen. The usual Print KOT and Place order buttons. |
| Classic | Busy billing counters | A dark category list, small tiles with dish codes, and Save, Save & Print, KOT, KOT & Print and Hold on one row. Pay by Cash, Card, UPI, Due (pay later) or Part (split). Quick with the keyboard. |
| Photo grid | Cafés, bakeries and new staff | Big dish photos (a dish without one shows its first letter in its category's colour) and one big Pay button. |
| Table service | Dine-in restaurants | Opens on your tables, the bill on the left, and a Qty keypad (tap 3, then a dish, to add three). Hold, Stay or Send to the kitchen, then Pay at the end. |
| Quick counter | Takeaway, tea and juice shops | Big tiles with categories along the bottom. SAVE keeps a ticket open and CHARGE takes the payment with quick cash amounts. |

Every layout has the same features; only the screen and buttons change. A table or held bill you open shows its own buttons in every layout.
Change the layout
Step 1: Open Layout & photos
Open Settings (a manager's PIN) and pick Layout & photos.
Step 2: Pick a card
Tap a layout. The one you use is tagged In use.
- Show dish photos switches photos on or off in Standard and Quick counter. Photo grid and Online POS always show them; Classic and Table service never do.
- Online POS is tagged Paid plan in a free store: it opens once you save your POS online or sign in with your Menuthere store.
Questions
Can cashiers change the layout?
No. Settings and the first layout choice are for managers.
I pressed Later. Will it ask again?
Yes, the next time the app opens, until a layout is chosen.
