Run a table

Step 1: Open the table

Tap it on Tables, or pick Dine-in › Choose table on the Billing screen. With guest counts on, How many guests? asks first (1–12, More or Skip).

Step 2: Send to the kitchen

Add dishes and press Print KOT (F4). The first is KOT 1; dishes added later print as ADDED - KOT 2, and so on.

Step 3: Print the bill

Press Print bill. If dishes haven't gone to the kitchen yet, Send the new items first? offers to print their KOT. After printing, the table shows Bill printed.

Step 4: Settle

Press Settle and take the payment. See Take payment.

‹ Tables goes back without losing anything: the table stays open on this device until it is settled. Another table opens any table number, even one not set up in the dashboard.

Change a bill after it's sent or printed

  • Take dishes off after the kitchen has them: Take sent items off? asks a reason (Guest cancelled, Wrong punch, Out of stock, Kitchen delay) and a manager, then Print CANCEL KOT tells the kitchen.
  • Change a printed bill: press Edit bill and give a reason. The next print is marked REVISED.
  • Reprint: More › Reprint KOT prints everything sent so far, marked REPRINT.

Areas and the floor plan

Step 1: Edit the floor

On Tables, switch the view from Grid to Floor plan and press Edit floor (a manager).

Step 2: Lay it out

Drag tables to where they stand. Tap a table to put it in an Area and pick its Shape (Square or Round). + Add area adds a room, such as *Terrace*.

Step 3: Save

Tick Ask how many guests when a table opens if you want guest counts, then press Save floor plan.

Area chips (All areas and each area) filter the screen. The floor plan is saved on this device.

Courses and seats

  • Courses (Settings › Dine-in & kitchen): put each dish in course 1, 2 or 3. Print KOT sends course 1; later courses show On hold and print as ON HOLD. Press Send course 2 when the guests are ready. Printing or settling the bill sends every course still waiting.
  • Seats (same place): pick a seat (Shared, 1, 2, 3, 4 or +) before adding a guest's dishes. The KOT shows the seat beside each dish, and Split bill can make one bill per seat.
