Cancel an order
You can cancel an order while it is Pending. Pick a reason or write your own, and the customer is told. Any booked rider is called off, redeemed loyalty points go back to the customer and the stock is returned.

Cancel an order
Step 1: Choose Cancelled
Open the status menu on the order, or the status pill in the list, and choose Cancelled. An order that is already Accepted or later shows the message “Only pending orders can be cancelled”.
Step 2: Pick a reason
Under Pick a reason, choose one: Customer requested cancellation, Item out of stock, Kitchen closed / overloaded or Duplicate order. Or type your own in Or write your own. This reason is shared with the customer.
Step 3: Confirm
Press Cancel order. Keep order closes the box and leaves the order as it was.
What a cancel does
- The order shows Cancelled, who cancelled it and the reason.
- A rider booked through Porter, Rapido, the Menuthere delivery pool or Adloggs, and a Shiprocket shipment, are called off.
- Loyalty points the customer redeemed on the order go back to them.
- The stock the order held is put back.
- If you use Petpooja, the order is cancelled on Petpooja too.
