Turn on online payments
Online payments let customers pay by card, UPI or netbanking at checkout, and the money goes to your own gateway account. You switch on Online payment, pick the gateway that fits your country, enter its details, and save. Menuthere takes no commission.

Connect a gateway
Step 1: Switch on Online payment
Open Settings → Payments & tax → Payment Methods and turn on Online payment. A box asks you to Configure a gateway first. On the Free plan this row is locked and shows Upgrade to Lite.
Step 2: Pick your gateway
The Online payment page offers gateways for your store's country. In India you choose Cashfree, Razorpay or Easebuzz. Outside India you connect Stripe. If your country is not set, you are asked to select it first.

Step 3: Enter the gateway details and save
Fill in the details the gateway asks for, then press Save and turn on. The page saves your credentials encrypted and makes that gateway live. Only one gateway is live at a time.
Step 4: Choose which order types take online payment
Back on Payment Methods, set Online and Cash for each order type. See Payment options for each order type.
Which gateway can I use?
