New order alerts and ringing
A new order rings on your Menuthere partner app until someone accepts it, so a busy kitchen does not miss one. The Android, iPhone and Windows apps keep ringing. A plain browser tab stays silent and shows a “New order received!” message.

Get alerts on your phone or till
Step 1: Install the partner app
Open Download App, scan the code with your phone or install the Windows app, and sign in with the same email you use for the dashboard. See Get the partner app.
Step 2: Let it ring
When a customer places an order, the order is Pending and the alarm loops. An order that is still waiting shows in yellow on the dashboard, and the To confirm tile counts it.
Step 3: Accept to stop the ring
Press Accept on any device. The ring stops everywhere once no order is left in Pending, including when the order is accepted or cancelled on another device.
What rings and what does not
| What happens | Alert |
|---|---|
| A new order arrives | Rings in a loop until the order is accepted. Orders that arrived within the last five minutes ring. |
| A customer adds a round to a table order that is still Pending | Rings again until you accept. |
| A customer adds a round to an order you already accepted | One short chime in the Windows app and a message: Customer added items to order #12 · Table 5. |
| You open the dashboard with an old order still Pending | No ring. Opening the dashboard never starts the alarm for an order older than five minutes. |
| You use the dashboard in a browser tab | Silent. You see a New order received! message only. |
