WhatsApp catalogue
The WhatsApp catalogue publishes your menu to WhatsApp, so customers can browse dishes and build a basket without leaving the chat. They then check out on your store. Each dish needs a name, a price and a photo to be listed.

Publish your menu
Step 1: Ask for it to be switched on
The catalogue is switched on store by store. If Catalogue is not in your WhatsApp list, ask Menuthere support to turn it on.
Step 2: Check what is ready
Open Sales channel → WhatsApp → Catalogue. The figures show Ready for WhatsApp, Already sent, Need attention and Off WhatsApp (by you). Dishes that cannot go are marked No photo, No price or No name.
Step 3: Sync
Press Sync 38 items. It sends every ready dish and is safe to run again any time, because it updates what is there instead of duplicating it. If WhatsApp is still processing, the screen asks you to check back shortly.
Step 4: Connect it to your number once
The catalogue has to be linked to your WhatsApp number once, by hand, in WhatsApp Manager → Account tools → Catalogue. Menuthere cannot do this step or check it. If customers do not see the catalogue in chat, check this first.
Manage dishes
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Edit | Change the dish's name, description or photo link. It changes your whole menu, not only WhatsApp. |
| Send | Send one dish that is ready but not sent yet. |
| Remove | Take the dish off WhatsApp. It stays on your menu. Add back puts it back. |
| Delete | Deletes the dish from WhatsApp and from your menu, including your store, QR menu and POS. |
| Send menu | Sends a browsable list of dishes into one customer's chat. Works only if they messaged you in the last 24 hours. |
