Currency and timezone
Currency sets the symbol shown beside your prices. Timezone sets the clock your opening hours, delivery windows, timed dishes and pre-order slots all run on. Both are in Store details, and both use the store's own settings, not the customer's.

- Both on every plan. Offering other languages needs Lite.

Where to set each
| Setting | Where | What it controls |
|---|---|---|
| Currency | Settings → Store details → Currency and language | The symbol on menus, orders and bills, such as ₹, $ or €. Pick from the searchable list, which shows each currency's code, name and symbol. |
| Timezone | Settings → Store details → Working hours | The clock for everything timed in your store. Search by city, abbreviation such as IST, or offset such as GMT+5:30. |
| Country | Settings → Store details → Address | Your address's country. It also decides which online payment options you are offered. |
| Offer other languages | Settings → Store details → Currency and language | Adds a language button to your menu. Needs Lite. |
What runs on the timezone
- Your working hours and breaks, and whether the store shows as open now.
- Delivery and takeaway hours.
- Dishes set to show at certain times.
- Pre-order slots, and which hours they are cut to.
Good to knowTimes are always judged in your store's timezone. A customer in another country sees your store close at your closing time, not theirs. Changing currency changes the symbol only. It does not convert your prices.
Questions
I changed the currency and my prices look wrong.
Menuthere only swaps the symbol. A price of 250 stays 250, so edit the prices if you changed to a different currency.
My opening time seems an hour off.
Check the Timezone at the top of Working hours. All times on that page use it. See Working hours and breaks.
