View-only tables
A view-only table QR opens your full menu in browse mode. Guests can read every dish and price, but they cannot add to a cart or place an order. Switch it on for any table from its Edit window.

Make a table view only
Step 1: Open the table
Go to Sales channel → QR ordering and press Edit on the table.
Step 2: Tick View only
Tick View only. The note beside it says guests can browse the menu but cannot add to the cart or order.
Step 3: Save
Press Save changes. The row now carries a View only tag. The change reaches a QR you have already printed.
View-only table or digital menu
Both let guests read without ordering. They differ in what opens and who it is for.
| View-only table QR | Digital menu QR | |
|---|---|---|
| What opens | Your storefront menu, with ordering switched off | The digital menu, as a booklet or in your theme |
| Where it lives | One code per table, in the table list | One code for the whole store, on the Digital menu screen |
| Table number | Set on the code | Not tied to a table |
| Best for | A waiting area, a counter or a bar you do not serve | Tables, the counter or the door, wherever guests only need to read |
Good to knowOn the Free plan, once you reach 50 orders in a month every table QR turns browse-only until the 1st of the next month, or until you upgrade. See Free plan limits.
Questions
Can I switch it back?
Yes. Untick View only and save. Ordering from that table works again straight away.
Can I make several tables view only at once?
Not from the table list. View only is set one table at a time in each table's Edit window.
