Free item rewards
A Free item discount adds a dish to the order at no charge when the cart qualifies, for example a free dessert on bills above ₹800. You choose the dishes, how many of each, and when it applies.

Create a free item reward
Step 1: Choose the Free item type
Go to Promotions → Discounts, press New discount and under Type choose Free item. If you do not see it, your plan does not include it yet.
Step 2: Pick the free items
In Free item(s), choose the dishes to give. The customer gets all of them. Set Free units of each item if they should get more than one.
Step 3: Set when it applies
Under When it applies, add a Minimum order value, for example 800, and the order types and days. Switch on Auto-apply discount so the free item is added without a code.
What the customer sees
- The free item has its own line on the bill, tagged FREE. It is not taken off other items.
- A Free item discount can have a Minimum order value, Total uses, Per customer limits, days and an end date, like any discount. See Limits, days and validity.
- If you want the customer to pick one free dish from a list, use Buy X get Y, where Customer gets can be One they pick.
Good to knowFree items start on Pro. An existing Free item discount stays editable if your plan changes, but you cannot create new ones.

Can the customer choose the free item?
A Free item discount gives all the dishes you pick. For a choice, use Buy X get Y and set Customer gets to One they pick.
Can I give more than one free item?
Yes. Pick several dishes and the customer gets all of them. Set Free units of each item to give more than one of each.
