Work out your new prices
Open the card surcharge menu price calculator. It is free, needs no sign-up and works on a phone.
Step 1: Add your menu prices
Under 1. Your menu prices type each item and the price on your menu today, with GST included. Five example items are there to start.
Step 2: Say what you used to add
Under 2. What you used to add choose Work it out from: The surcharge I added or My card fee. Enter the Card surcharge you added (percent of the bill) or the Card fee you pay, the Sales paid by card (check your terminal reports), and Round new prices to: 10 cents, 50 cents or 1 dollar.
Step 3: Read your new prices
The result shows Your prices go up by a percentage and the Takings after rounding, with the Old and new menu prices side by side. A $20.00 dish at a 1.2% rise is $20.24, rounded up to $20.30.
Step 4: Print your new price list
Under What goes on it add Your business name, a Heading, a line at the bottom and a phone or website. Press Download PDF to print for an A4 list, Copy the new prices as text, or press Make my order page to put the prices on a free order page.
