Connect printers to Menuthere POS (USB, network, Bluetooth)
On Windows, the POS prints to any printer installed in Windows: tick which printers get bills and which get KOTs. On Android, add a Bluetooth, USB or network printer in the app. Then print a test bill and fix the alignment in Receipt layout & alignment.

Add your printer
Step 1: Install it in Windows
Connect the printer by USB or network and install it in Windows first, with its driver. The POS lists the printers Windows has.
Step 2: Choose printers
In Settings › Printers, press Choose printers. Under Bill printer, tick every printer the bill should come out of; under KOT printer, tick the kitchen's. Set copies (1–5) per printer, for example two KOTs.
Step 3: Pick the paper
Under Printer type, pick 58 mm (small roll) or 80 mm (standard roll), then press Save.
Step 4: Test
Press Test bill and Test KOT in Settings › Printers.
With no bill printer ticked, bills go to the Windows default printer. Ctrl+Shift+P opens the printer settings any time.
Step 1: Open Printers
Press Printers in the top bar (on a phone, under More).
Step 2: Add the printer
Under Add a printer, pick Bluetooth (pair it in Android's Bluetooth settings first, often PIN 0000 or 1234, then Show paired printers › Add), USB (plug it in with an OTG cable, then Allow & add) or Network (its IP from the printer's self-test slip and port 9100, then Add network printer).
Step 3: Choose what it prints
On the printer's card, tap Bills and KOTs and set the copies (×1 to ×5). Make default picks the printer used when none is ticked.
Step 4: Pick paper and test
Under Paper, pick 58 mm (small roll) or 80 mm (standard), then press Test bill and Test KOT.
Bluetooth needs the Nearby devices permission; press Allow when asked.
Picture or Text printing
| Picture (recommended) | Text (old printers) | |
|---|---|---|
| Arabic and other scripts | Yes | No |
| Your logo and QR codes | Yes | No |
| Bill layouts and tax invoices | All of them | Only the standard one, or the block designer's |
| Speed | A little slower on old Bluetooth printers | Fastest, the printer's own font |
Fix the alignment
- Open Receipt layout & alignment. Every change shows in the preview at once; press Save to use it.
- Paper & fit: paper size, Text size, Move the print left or right, Side margins, Space before the cut, Cut the paper after printing and Darker print.
- Not printing right?: print the alignment test and tap what you see, such as Left side is cut off or Text is too small. The POS fixes it for you.
- Bill: alignment, store name size, Arabic labels, and what shows (logo, address, customer, payment method, QR codes, thank-you message). Tax numbers always print.
- Kitchen ticket: item and table number size, the title, and what shows.
When bills and KOTs print
- Print the KOT on “Place order & print” and Print the bill on “Place order & print” in Settings › Printers choose what that button prints.
- Every KOT goes to every printer ticked for KOTs.
- To send KOTs only to a kitchen screen, switch off Also print KOTs on paper. See Kitchen screen.
- The cash drawer plugs into the bill printer. See Shifts and cash drawer.
