Add-ons
Add-ons are features no plan includes. You ask Menuthere support for one, and it is switched on for your store and billed as a line on your invoice. POS, Captains, Stock management, Purchase & inventory and Porter & Rapido are sold this way.

The add-ons
| Add-on | What it gives you | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| POS | Counter billing for walk-in customers. See Counter POS billing. | POS in the sidebar |
| Captains | A captain app for waiters. See Captain app for waiters. | More → Captains |
| Stock management | Track what is in stock. See Stock management. | More → Stock Management |
| Purchase & inventory | Purchases and inventory. See Purchase and inventory. | More → Purchase & Inventory |
| Porter & Rapido | Automatic rider booking. See Porter and Rapido auto-booking. | Settings → Ordering → Porter & Rapido |
Until an add-on is on for your store, its screen is hidden. Ask Menuthere support to turn it on. Moving between plans doesn't remove an add-on you were sold separately.
How add-ons are billed
- Each add-on is a line on your invoice, named like Add-on: POS, so you can see it in your invoices.
- A one-time add-on, such as a build or a setup, is marked (one-time) and charged once, on the first invoice after it is added.
- An add-on that renews follows your plan's period. On a yearly plan it is billed yearly too.
- You are never billed for an add-on that your plan already includes.
- An add-on can be agreed for a set period. When it ends, the feature switches off.
Good to knowThe Enterprise plan covers your own branded app and a gateway, POS or delivery partner on request. See Enterprise.
Questions
How do I get an add-on?
Message Menuthere support. A locked screen can also send a request that names the feature and your store.
Do I lose an add-on if I change plan?
No. An add-on you were sold separately stays when you move to another plan.
