WhatsApp template generator
The WhatsApp template generator writes a message template for 12 restaurant messages, from order confirmation to win-back. Pick a wording, edit it and fill in example values. You get the name, category, body with numbered values, examples, footer and buttons to paste into WhatsApp Manager, plus checks against Meta's rules and what one message costs in your customers' country.

Make a template
Open the WhatsApp template generator. It is free, needs no sign-up and works on a phone.
Step 1: Pick the message
Under 1. Which message? choose the Message. Utility messages about one order are listed first, marketing messages after. Pick a Wording to start from. The grey note says why Meta files it as utility or marketing.
Step 2: Edit the words
Under 2. Edit the words change the Message body. Values in double braces, such as {{customer_name}}, change for each customer. Press a button under Add a value to put one where your cursor is. Back to the original wording undoes your edits.
Step 3: Fill in the examples
Under 3. Example values type a realistic example for each value, and the links the buttons use. Meta reviews a template with these examples.
Step 4: Name it and pick the market
Under 4. Name, language and market check the Template name, the Language and where Your customers' numbers are in. The preview shows what one message and 1,000 messages cost there.
Step 5: Copy it
Read Checks against Meta's rules and fix anything in red. Under Your template, ready to submit, press Copy everything and create the template in WhatsApp Manager. Switch to Chat message for the version to send inside the 24-hour window.
