Let customers book their own courier
Turn this on and customers place a pickup order, then collect it themselves or book a courier such as Porter, Rapido or Uber to collect it. The customer pays the courier directly, so you charge no delivery and book no rider.

Step 1: Switch it on
In Settings → Ordering → Delivery settings, switch on Let customers book their own delivery courier. It says: "Customers place a pickup order, then either collect it themselves or book a courier to pick it up."
Step 2: Choose the courier apps to show
Under Courier apps to show, keep only the apps that work in your city. Press Add courier to bring one back and the cross to remove one. The first time you switch it on, only Uber is listed. A general Another courier choice always stays.
Step 3: Save
Press Save. Make sure your store has an address or a map pin, because customers need a pickup address to give the courier.
Step 4: Customers book the courier
At checkout customers see one Pickup option. A card shows the pickup address, the drop address and the order ID, each with a Copy button, and a note that you'll message them on WhatsApp when the food is ready.
What changes for your store
- No delivery charge is quoted or billed. Checkout offers Pickup instead of a delivery choice.
- No Porter, Rapido or pool rider is booked for any order at your store. The delivery settings below the switch are hidden, and the Porter & Rapido tab does nothing.
- The order shows a pill such as Pickup: Porter once the customer says they booked one, or Courier didn't arrive if the rider never turned up.
- Customers get a WhatsApp message when the food is ready.
