Delivery and takeaway hours
Delivery and takeaway hours let you take delivery orders, takeaway orders or both for only part of the day, for example takeaway all day and delivery from 6:00 PM. Each window must sit inside your working hours. Outside it, customers see when the option is available.

Set a window
The Delivery & takeaway hours block sits under your weekly schedule on the Working hours page. It shows a row for each order type your store offers.

| Restrict delivery hours, Restrict takeaway hours | Off, the order type follows your working hours ("All working hours, follows the schedule above"). On, it takes orders only inside the times you set. |

| When we open, When we close | Press the link icon beside a time to follow your own opening or closing time on each day. Use it when your days have different hours. |

What Menuthere checks

| A window starts before you open, or ends after you close, on any open day | The save is blocked. The message names the days and tells you to move the time inside, or to follow your opening or closing time. |
| The start and end are the same time | The save is blocked, because no orders could be taken. Widen it or switch the restriction off. |
| A window runs across one of your breaks | It saves, with a note that orders won't be taken during the break. |
What customers seeOutside a window, that order type is greyed out on the first screen of your store with a line such as "Available 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM". Customers can still use any order type that is open. Dine-in follows your working hours. Prebooked times are checked against the window too.
Questions
Why can't I save a delivery window until 11:00 PM?
Your store closes earlier than that on at least one open day. Move the window's end inside your hours, or set it to follow your closing time.
I don't see the Delivery row.
A row only shows for an order type your store has available. Check Settings → Ordering → Order types and Settings → Features.
