Customers track the rider live
When an order is dispatched with a rider, the customer's order page switches to On the way. With your own riders it shows the rider's name, an arrival estimate, a live map and a Call button. Pool and courier riders show their own details and a tracking link.

What the customer sees
- A live map shows the rider, the customer's address and your store.
- A green Live tag shows how long ago the rider's position last updated.
- Before the rider shares a location, the card says Waiting for rider's location.
- The Call button phones the rider.

Good to knowYou can watch your own riders too. On the order screen, an order carried by your own rider shows a live map of the rider. Porter and Rapido have a Track rider link on the order.
Questions
How often does the position update?
The order page checks for a new position about every 3 seconds while the order is active.
Can customers track an order on the Free plan?
Customers always get a live order status page. Live tracking of your own riders needs the rider app, which starts on Pro.
