How customers order from your store
A customer opens your store link or scans a QR code, chooses delivery, takeaway or dine-in, adds dishes, signs in with their phone number and places the order. You see it in your dashboard, and they follow it on a live status page. Nothing needs to be installed.
Knowing the path helps you set the right things up. Each step below links to the page that controls it.

The customer's path
Step 1: They open your store
Your store lives at menuthere.com/your-username, or on your own domain from Lite. A table QR code opens the same menu with the table already set, and skips the order-type question. See Set up QR table ordering.
Step 2: They choose how to order
A screen asks How would you like your order? Delivery asks for an address next. Takeaway and dine-in go straight to the menu. See Order types.
Step 3: They add dishes
Dishes with sizes or add-ons open a sheet to choose them. A cart bar at the bottom shows the count and total. Prices follow your menu and any offers that apply.
Step 4: They sign in
When they continue from the cart, they enter their phone number. If your store sends WhatsApp order updates, a 6-digit code goes to that number first. See How customers sign in.
Step 5: They check out and follow the order
Checkout shows the bill, then the customer pays online or at the store, depending on what you offer. They land on a status page that updates by itself. See The order tracking page.

| A table QR code | Your menu with the table set. Guests order to the table without choosing an order type. |
