Import your menu into the POS from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Excel
Give ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini your menu photo or PDF with the prompt in the POS, then paste the answer back: the POS shows every dish it found before adding them. You can also import an Excel or CSV file, download a template, or save your menu as Excel. No internet needed.

Paste a menu from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
Step 1: Open Import / export
On Menu, press Import / export and choose Paste from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Step 2: Copy the prompt
Press Copy the prompt. It asks for a table with the columns Category, Dish, Price, Sizes, Veg and Code.
Step 3: Ask the AI
Open ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, paste the prompt and add your menu: a photo, a PDF or the dishes typed out.
Step 4: Paste the answer
Copy the AI's answer, paste it into the box and press Read the menu.
Step 5: Check and import
The preview shows the dishes by category and any skipped lines. Press Import the dishes.
Import an Excel or CSV file
Step 1: Get the template
Choose Download the Excel template. It has the columns Category, Dish, Price, Sizes, Veg, Code and Available, with two example dishes.
Step 2: Fill it in
One dish per row. For sizes, leave Price empty and write the sizes like *Half:120; Full:200*.
Step 3: Import it
Choose Excel or CSV file and pick the file. Check the preview and press Import the dishes.
The columns can be in any order, and common names work (Item, Rate, MRP, Variants, Barcode…). Files up to 8 MB and 2,000 dishes.
Add to your menu or replace it
- Add to my menu (the default): new dishes are added; a dish with the same name in the same category gets the new price, sizes, veg mark and code.
- Replace my menu: your dishes are deleted and these are added. The POS asks you to confirm.
- A line with No dish name or No price is skipped and listed, so you can fix it.
Save your menu as Excel
Choose Save my menu as Excel. Change prices in Excel, then import the file back with Add to my menu. On Android, the file opens the share sheet: pick Drive, Downloads or WhatsApp to keep it.
