The Media Library
On the Add Category screen, press the small picture tile on a dish row to open the Media Library. It has two tabs.
| Tab | What it does |
|---|---|
| Upload | Choose File picks a photo from your device. Paste from Clipboard pastes a copied image, where your browser allows it. |
| Google Images | Searches Google Images, starting with the dish name. Press Search, then tap a photo to use it. |
Good to knowTo fill many missing photos at once, use Get all images instead. See Fill missing photos with Get all images. Dishes imported from a photo or from GloriaFood come in without pictures.
Questions
What file types work?
Any image file. If you choose something else, Menuthere says "Pick a JPG or PNG image".
Do I need a photo for every dish?
No. A dish with no photo shows as text. Some layouts look best when most dishes have one.
Can I use a photo I found on Google?
The Google Images tab lets you pick one, but you are responsible for having the right to use it. Your own photos are the safer choice.
