The rider app
The Menuthere delivery app is what your riders use on their phones. They sign in with the phone number and password you set, get a push message when you assign an order, share their location while delivering, and mark the order delivered.

Get a rider started
Step 1: Add the rider first
Create the rider under Settings → Ordering → Delivery boy settings. Their phone number is their username. See Your own delivery riders.
Step 2: Install the app
On Android, the rider opens the download page, which downloads the app straight to the phone. On iPhone, they search for Menuthere Delivery App in the App Store.
Step 3: Sign in
The rider enters their phone number and the password you gave them. A rider whose Taking orders switch is off can't sign in.
Step 4: Assign an order and the rider is notified
When you assign an order, the rider's phone shows a push message titled New Delivery Assignment with the order number and drop address.
What the app does
| Moment | What happens |
|---|---|
| Rider is online | Their location is shared, and a green dot appears next to their name on your roster. |
| On the way | The customer sees the rider's live position and can call them. See Customers track the rider live. |
| At the door | The rider's Show QR button displays your payment QR if you set one. See Collect payment at the door. |
| Delivered | The rider marks the order delivered. It moves to completed and the customer is sent an Order Delivered notification. |
