Kitchen screen in the POS (kitchen display)
The kitchen screen shows every KOT as a ticket with a timer. Cooks tap each dish when it's ready and press Done. Open it from Settings › Dine-in & kitchen › Open kitchen screen, and switch off paper KOTs if the screen is all the kitchen needs.

Open it
- Windows: Open kitchen screen opens it in its own window, full screen on a second monitor when one is connected (pick the screen). Show here puts it over the till on a one-screen PC.
- Android: it opens full screen on the tablet; close it with ×.
- A tablet on the shop's Wi-Fi (Windows till): open the kitchen address shown under Waiter phones and kitchen tablets. See Waiter phones and the customer screen.
Use it
- Every KOT becomes a ticket with its number, table, type and how long it has waited. Reprints don't make new tickets.
- Tickets turn amber after 10 minutes and red after 20. A chime plays for each new one.
- Tags show Added, Cancel, Note, Moved and Course N; held courses show Later: course N.
- Tap a dish when it's ready, then press Done (or Got it on a cancel ticket). Done tickets has Bring back to undo.
- Filter with All, Dine-in, Takeaway and Delivery. All-day count totals every dish still to cook.
Stop paper KOTs
Switch off Also print KOTs on paper: KOTs then go only to the kitchen screen, and bills still print. The screen says KOTs print only here.
