Checkout settings
Checkout settings are the rules that apply while a customer places an order. You choose whether to ask for their name, whether a delivery needs a full address, whether the total is rounded, whether the delivery charge is hidden, and whether a table order must be placed from inside your restaurant.

Set your checkout rules
Step 1: Open Checkout settings
Go to Settings → Ordering and open the Checkout settings tab. Every rule on it is a switch.
Step 2: Choose what to ask the customer
Switch on Ask for the customer’s name to make the name required at login and when placing an order. Switch on Require full address details so a delivery order can't be placed until flat, floor and landmark are filled in.

Step 3: Choose how the bill looks
Round the total to the nearest rupee adds a Round off line. Hide delivery charge in checkout shows an "extra delivery charges apply" note on delivery orders instead of a line on the bill.
Step 4: Lock table orders to your restaurant
Switch on Geo-lock table orders, then pick the Allowed distance from your map pin: 100 m, 200 m, 500 m or 1 km. Press Save.
What each setting does
| Setting | What customers see |
|---|---|
| Ask for the customer’s name | A Your Name box in the checkout. The order can't be placed until it is filled in. |
| Require full address details | Flat, floor and landmark are compulsory on a delivery address. |
| Round the total | A Round Off line brings the total to the nearest whole number. See Round off the total. |
| Hide delivery charge | The bill shows Delivery Charge: Informed at delivery instead of an amount. |
| Geo-lock table orders | The customer is asked for their location. The order can only be placed from inside the allowed distance. |
