Install Menuthere POS on Windows or Android

Install Menuthere POS from the Microsoft Store on a Windows PC, or from Google Play on an Android phone or tablet. Both are listed as Menuthere POS and are free to install. The store keeps the app up to date.

Install it

Step 1: Open the Microsoft Store page

On the counter PC, open Menuthere POS on the Microsoft Store, or search for Menuthere POS in the Store app.

Step 2: Install it

Press Get or Install. Windows installs it like any Store app, with no security warning.

Step 3: Open it

Open Menuthere POS from the Start menu. Choose Start free or Sign in. See Set up a free offline POS or Connect the POS to your Menuthere store.

It needs a 64-bit Windows PC. The window works from 1024 × 640 pixels, so a small counter screen is fine. Only one copy opens at a time: opening it again brings the open window to the front.

Updates

  • Microsoft Store and Google Play update the app for you, like any other app. Your bills, menu and settings stay.
  • To see your version, open Settings › About in the app.
  • Updating never deletes the data on the device.

What else you need

  • The internet once, to finish setting up. After that it bills offline.
  • A printer if you print bills or KOTs: any thermal printer Windows can print to, or a Bluetooth, USB or network printer on Android. See Connect printers.
  • A cash drawer (optional), plugged into the bill printer.
  • A barcode scanner (optional). Any scanner that types the code and presses Enter works.

Questions

Is there an iPhone or iPad version?
Not yet. Use a Windows PC or an Android phone or tablet.
Can I install it on more than one device?
Yes. Each device is its own till with its own device number. With a Menuthere store, every device sends its bills to the same dashboard.
Does the Google Play app sell plans?
No. The Google Play version doesn't sell plans inside the app. A plan you buy on menuthere.com still works in it.
