Table orders and second rounds
When a guest orders again from the same table QR while their first order is still running, the new items are added to that order. You get one order and one bill for the table, marked Edited by customer and moved back to the top of the list.

How a second round is handled
The second round joins the first order when all of these are true:
- It is the same customer and the same table QR.
- The first order is not finished. It is Pending, Accepted or Food Ready, and the last activity on it was within the last four hours.
- The first order has not been paid.
- The guest is not paying this round online, not redeeming loyalty points and not booking a table or a later time.
If any of these is not true, the second round becomes a separate order, which is how it worked before. A friend ordering on their own phone at the same table always gets their own order.
What you see in the dashboard
Step 1: The order jumps to the top
The order moves back to the top of the live list, the row is tinted violet and carries an Edited by customer tag with the time. A message appears: Customer added items to order #12 · Table 5.

Step 2: The new items are tagged
Open the order. A violet box at the top explains that the customer ordered again, and the new lines carry an Added tag. The kitchen ticket you printed earlier does not list them, so print it again.
