Pickup and delivery codes
Pickup and delivery codes make sure an order goes to the right rider and the right customer. The rider enters a pickup code you read from the order screen, and a delivery code the customer gives them at the door. Both switches are in Delivery settings.

Switch the codes on
Step 1: Open Delivery settings
Go to Settings → Ordering → Delivery settings. The two switches show once the Menuthere delivery pool is on for your store.
Step 2: Choose your codes
Switch on Ask the rider for a pickup code and Ask the customer for a delivery code. They are separate, so you can use either or both. Press Save.

Good to knowOnly the pool has switches for these codes. For couriers the code appears when the provider issues one. Codes disappear from the order screen once an order is completed or cancelled.
Questions
Are the codes on by default?
No. Both switches start off, so you opt in.
What if the customer loses the code?
It stays on their order page while the order is live, and it is in their WhatsApp message about the rider.
