QR code size calculator
The QR code size calculator tells you how small a QR code can print and still scan. Pick where it goes, such as a table card or a window, paste the link it opens and say whether the light is good. It shows the minimum size in centimetres and inches, the size with its white margin and the pixels a PNG needs at 300 dpi, and downloads the code at that size.

Work out the size
Open the QR code size calculator. It is free, needs no sign-up and works on a phone.
Step 1: Pick where the code goes
Under 1. Where will the code go? choose a Place. Each place has an example scan distance in its hint. Choose My own distance to type yours in inches or centimetres. Set Light where guests scan to Good light or Dim, or seen at an angle.
Step 2: Paste the link
Under 2. What does the code open? paste the Link. Until you do, the calculator sizes an example menu link. Pick the Error correction: Standard (M), Stronger (Q) or Strongest (H). A longer link or a stronger level makes a denser code, so the minimum grows.
Step 3: Read the size and download
Print the code at least is the minimum size. Below it you see the size With the white margin, the Modules a side, One module and the PNG for 300 dpi print. Press PNG at this size or SVG, any size.
