Take pre-orders while closed
When your working hours close the store, customers who find you can still pre-order for a time when you are open. The menu keeps its Add buttons, checkout asks for a slot, and every slot falls inside your opening hours. It needs Prebooking switched on, so it is a Lite feature.

Set it up
Step 1: Turn on prebooking
Enable Prebooking for Takeaway & Delivery as described in Prebooking. Check that Prebooking is also on in Settings → Features.
Step 2: Give your store working hours
Switch on Store timing in Settings → Store details → Working hours. Pre-orders while closed only start once your hours close the store. See Working hours and breaks.
Step 3: Customers see the closed screen
After closing, customers see Closed right now. If a pre-order is possible, the notice says so and its button reads Pre-order for later. The order-type tile says "Pre-order for tomorrow".
Step 4: Checkout forces a slot
Checkout shows This is a pre-order, asks for a date and slot that fall inside your open hours, and the button reads Place Pre-order.
