Working hours and breaks
Working hours let your store open and close on its own. You set an opening and closing time for each day and can add breaks, such as a closed afternoon between lunch and dinner. Customers can only order while you are open, and every time follows your store's timezone.

Set your hours
Step 1: Check the timezone
Open Settings → Store details → Working hours. Timezone sits at the top, and all the times below use it. Search by city, such as Kolkata or Dubai.
Step 2: Switch on Store timing
Turn on Store timing, which opens and closes your store on its own. The week starts at 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day.
Step 3: Set each day
Switch a day off to close it all day. For an open day, set when it opens and closes. Press Apply to all to copy that day's hours and breaks to every day.
Step 4: Add a break
Press Break on a day to close for a while in the middle of it, for example 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Add more than one break if you need to. Press the cross to remove one.
Step 5: Save changes
Press Save changes. A break outside the day's opening time isn't accepted, and Menuthere says why on the day's row.
How the schedule behaves
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| A day is switched off | The store is closed all that day. |
| During a break | The store shows as closed and takes no orders. |
| Closing time earlier than opening time | The day runs past midnight. 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM keeps you open into the next morning. |
| Store timing is off | The store is open all the time. Your week stays saved for when you switch it back on. |
| The Open or Closed switch is Closed | The store is closed, whatever your hours say. See Open or close your store. |
