Delivery charges: flat, by distance, by zone
You can charge a flat fee for every delivery, a fee that grows with distance, or a separate fee for each delivery zone. Pick one under How is delivery charged? in Delivery settings. Checkout works out the charge for each customer's address.

Choose how you charge
One charge on every delivery, however far it goes. This is the simplest option for a small delivery area.
Step 1: Choose Flat fee
Under How is delivery charged? choose Flat fee.

Step 2: Enter the delivery charge
Type the amount in Delivery charge. Every delivery inside your radius is charged that amount. Press Save.
The charge follows how far the order travels. You choose between a base charge plus a rate per kilometre, or a table of price bands.
Step 1: Choose By distance
Under How is delivery charged? choose By distance. Then pick Base + per km or Price bands under How to charge based on distance.

Step 2: For Base + per km, fill three fields
Base charge covers the first stretch. Covers the first is how many kilometres that is. Per km after that is added for each extra kilometre.
Step 3: Or build price bands
Choose Price bands, then enter From (km), To (km) and Charge for each row. Add band adds a row and Use the standard card fills a ready-made table. You can have up to 20 bands.

Each delivery zone has its own charge. This option appears only when Delivery area is set to Custom Boundary.
Step 1: Choose By zone
Under How is delivery charged? choose By zone. Every zone that is switched on gets a charge field, starting at your current charge so nothing changes until you edit it.
Step 2: Enter a charge for each zone
An address pays the charge of the zone it is in, however far it is. A new zone needs a charge before you can save. See Delivery zones.
