Change an order
Step 1: Open the order and press Edit
In Orders, open the order and press Edit in the top bar.
Step 2: Change the items
Use the minus and plus buttons to change a quantity, or the cross to remove a line. To add a dish, type in Add an item — search the menu… and press the dish.
Step 3: Add a charge or change the details
In Charges, type a charge name and amount and press Add charge. It applies to this order only. On the right, set the payment Method, the Table, the Customer phone and the Kitchen note, which prints on the ticket.
Step 4: Save changes
Check the Summary. When the order has changed, a line shows the old total, for example Was ₹560. Press Save changes. Discard drops your edits.
What you cannot change
- The Order type is read-only. A delivery order stays a delivery order.
- An order with no items cannot be saved. Cancel the order instead. See Cancel an order.
- If the customer adds a round to a table order while you have the editor open, saving is refused with “The customer just added items to this order.” Reopen the order and change it again.
- A Completed order asks for your account password before it opens. If your store has the completed-order lock on, a Completed order cannot be edited at all, only cancelled. Ask Menuthere support to turn the lock on or off.
